Giosas' on a roll and moving...

We'll, I'm at a loss of where the days and months have gone, but apparently we are in mid-June already. My complete loss of time could be due to the fact that we have been a bit busy and overwhelmed this past month. We are in the process of moving. 8 years of marriage and I have moved more now then I did in the 25 years of living with my parents (if you don't include my dorms and apartments in college). We're staying in West Chester, but moving to simpler living (at least with the outdoor upkeep) into a beautiful townhouse. The house itself is as big as our single home was, but we don't have to care for any type of external maintenance. Our schedules just don't allow for Keith to keep up with the grass, etc. The house is 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a living room, a den/playroom, and a finish basement, plus a deck and patio. So we're completely excited and we know one of neighbors pretty well as it's my elder cousin.

At the moment we're "homeless". We made settlement on our old house on Monday, June 18th, and don't make settlement on the new place till July 6th; and then we don't move in till the end of July. So what's a family of 4 to do?? Move in with the parents/grandparents of course! LOL. We're staying with Keith's parents temporarily. I feel bad for them because I don't think they realized what an undertaking this would be. We packed most of our life up into 2 PODs and watched them as they were taken away to storage on Saturday. Rest assured, we still have plenty of everyday junk to keep two kids happy! Keith's parents are enjoying their extra time with their grandsons... for now.  I'm sure Aiden will quickly change that. LOL!

Another big event in our lives is that about two weeks ago Jonathan rolled over!! And we caught it on video!! He did it twice that day and hasn't done it since, though. (Typical) It was so exciting. While we knew he would roll over eventually, for us we still question of where he'll be developmentally because of his condition. So, to see him hit this milestone on target was a happy moment and here he rolled front to back before Aiden did. (I know I shouldn't compare kids, but what parent doesn't? :-P ) I also found an amazing article written by Dr. Standard (a top doc for JP's condition) that is a great documentation for Parents, Patients, and their family and friends to understand the whole process of FH.

So as I sit and reflect, I realize my boys are growing too fast. JP will be 4 months on Sat the 23rd and he's just doing amazingly well and growing like crazy!! We now can sit him up, which he prefers and he loves to watch his crazy brother Aiden run around. Lately, he's become very vocal, it sounds like he's angry, but you look at his face and see the delight in his "talking".  Also, I just got Aiden's Pre-School paperwork. He starts Sept 11th. I can't believe he's old enough to go to school now. Somedays the conversations him and I have just amaze me. He uses words I didn't think he knew. He's also been doing really well with the whole move. When I think about how disrupted his life has been over the last month for the most part, he really has gone with the flow. I'm fortunate to have two amazing sons.

God Bless Matthew Xavier!

A couple weeks ago our newest nephew, Matthew, was baptized. Of course, the only time he was fussing (which is stretching the definition of the word) was during the baptism. The rest of the time he slept the day away. He was baptized by Pastor Briggs who, along with his wife Betty, has been integral  in the special events of the Giosa Family. He married Marc & June (Matthew's parents), baptized my niece and other nephew (Natalie & Marc) and married Keith and I. We're so blessed to have the Briggs' in our lives. Anyway, here's a picture of one of the cutest nephews in the world.
