Keith went and got some pictures taking for his album and Aiden and I joined him. Well Aiden decided to "photo bomb" most of the pictures. Apparently, Aiden wants to play guitar like his Dad.

Aiden is a very vocal child, he speaks from the time he gets up to the time he goes to bed. He says lots of words and now he is speaking in phrases. But then there are times, we have no clue what he says, he's a glimpse

Parade Pics

4th of July Weekend

We hope everyone had a very Happy 4th of July and got to enjoy the extended weekend! We went from having no plans to a very busy weekend with family and friends and very much enjoyed it.

Saturday, we went to Marsh Creek State Park with our friends Frank & Nicole for some fun and grilling. It was a great time and Aiden got to burn some energy.

Sunday, Alison & Aiden went over to Alison's aunt and uncle house for a dinner.

Monday, we met up with Keith's brother & wife- Marc & June and their kids, Natalie & Marc for the Marple Netown's parade. It was a very HOT parade, but Aiden loved seeing his cousins and they took very good care of him. Then we went over to Keith's aunt's house in Lansdowne and met up with his Aunt & Uncle from FL, as well as many of his cousins. It was great to see Aiden's extended family and he had fun running with all the kids. Then after a quick nap we met up with our good friends the Grahams for a BBQ.

More Sesame Pics

Sesame Place

Last week, we took Aiden to meet his favorite "friend" Elmo!! We got free passes to Sesame Place and Aiden absolutely loved it! I was amazed how excited he was to see the characters- he ran up to Elmo, Burt & Ernie, and was so excited to see Cookie Monster (unfortunately we didn't get a chance to go over and meet him). He also did awesome on the rides and was excited to experience them.

We had a great time! Thanks to Alison's long lost Donnelly cousin, Danielle for supplying the passes!

Like Father, Like Son

A couple of week's ago, Keith went over to help his friend Frank's girlfriend, Nicole. She bought an Ikea couch and it needed to be put together. So Frank and Keith began the process and Aiden thought he was helping-LOL!

3rd Generation Friends

We had another play date with our good friends Dave & Tracy and their beautiful boy Sammy. We had a great time catching up and watching the next generation of Perillos and Giosas grow. Sammy and Aiden are 4 months apart and it's funny to see them both walking and following each other.

Of course Aiden is going through this shy stage and so he didn't really acknowledge the "baby" (in Aiden's words) for the first hour or so. Sammy on the other hand (who turned 1 at the end of March) warmed up very quickly and we were happy to see he was very comfortable with the house, toys and Aiden pretty quickly! Half Birthdays and Anniversaries!

It's hard to believe, but our little boy turned 18 months on May the 20th! It's been an amazing ride watching him grow and learn so far. He's very active and curious; he wants to know how everything works. He seems very interested in learning new things. He's also into climbing now, which is a right of passage for boys, but a little nerve wracking for Mommy and Daddy!

Aiden has been recovering from croup and a cold the last month, so there's been a lot of whining and crying, but Aiden has been pretty good- LOL! We're finally on the mend, so things are returning back to normal. He also had his 18 month check up on Friday-he's weighing in at 24lbs and 12 oz and is 32 inches long. In the 34% for weight and 50% for height, so he's doing great! He has graduated to only going to the doctor once a year around his birthday- yeah!

Keith and I also celebrated our 6 wedding anniversary on Saturday May 22nd. It's hard to believe it's been that long!! We had a nice "date night" going out to dinner and seeing a movie. We really had a good time and still very much enjoy each other's company.

Aiden's 1st Haircut

Well it was bound to happen sometime...Aiden got enough hair at 17 months old to warrent his first haircut. He was very brave and did very well, and Mommy was so proud. He definitley wasn't sure of it, but didn't cry or make a peep. They trimmed the side and the back as that was getting to long.
