Aiden spent the last week in NC with Alison's Brother, Brian and his wife, Amy. This is the longest he's been away from us and we were a bit nervous. We thought he would become homesick at some point, man was I wrong!
He was gone for 6 sleeps and Alison really missed reading to him and tucking him in, but he had such a blast that he forgot his routine. We did FaceTime ever night.
Aiden was kept very busy this week. His Aunt and Uncle had a full agenda even though it was as hot as the sun down there- lol. They hit an indoor water park, went bowling, miniature golf, go- karting, a children's museum, and the local skyzone. So there was no shortage of fun!
They also had some quality time at home, hanging out and a lot of Wii playing
He also had a playmate for a few days! Amy 's 10 yr old nephew was visiting at the end of the week and they played and got along great!!
It was truly a great vacation for him and he had a blast and loved every second of it...I think his Aunt and Uncle did too!! He misses them already and planning his next trip!
Then JP got his cast off this week and is in his new AFO. He's doing great and walking and climbing already, making Mommy nervous already-lol
JP never ceases to amaze us. He's always bouncing back and not letting anything hold him down.
We are so excited to see his leg closer to even. It's been a rough couple years and I kneo there are more ahead in the future, but to see how far he has come already keeps us in awe.
